This is a beautiful boxed set of compact planes featuring brass fittings and razor sharp blades perfect for small projects, surface repair, instrument or jewelry box work. A2 tool steel blades hold an edge even when used in difficult to cut woods. The set contains 1 curved bottom plane, one scraper plane, one block plane and one chisel plane. All planes are made from beautifully machined ebony and are designed to last a life time. Each plane footprint is about  3" x 13/16" Blades are 1/2" wide by 1/16" thick. Even the box for the set is a work of art!
