The Contour Plane is similar to a spoke shave. Used to form complex curves and outside radii, this tool can form a chair leg or coopered top quickly and easily. The body is ebony with a flat steel sole insert at the cutting area. Dimensions are 10 3/8" from tip and 1" at the mouth. It tapers to form a handle on each side.
